Potassium Punch
In her wonderful book on juicing, "Power Juices",
Leslie Kenton had this to say:-
This recipe (Potassium Punch) is our tribute
to Dr Norman Walker, the American raw food pioneer and proponent
of natural healing who helped to develop the technique of
juicing and was one of the first to write about the wonders
of raw juice. A marvellous testament to the truth of the idea
that you are what you eat, Dr Walker lived to the age of 106
years. An evangelist of detoxification, he would recommend
to his patients that they drink his Raw Potassium Broth, although
he would be the first to admit that most people don't find
it as palatable as straight carrot juice or concoctions based
on a carrot and apple mix.
In the words of the great man himself;
"The organic minerals and salts in this combination of raw
potassium 'broth' embrace practically the entire range of
those required by the body. Its effect in reducing excessive
acidity in the stomach has been truly remarkable. There is
probably no food more complete in every respect than this
for the human organism." So there you have it. We recommend that
you drink at least a glass a day.
